Wow, that is one of the best articulations of the pro-life position I have ever heard.

Dean Scontras has obviously given a lot of thought to this issue, and deserves to be respected and supported for his views.

"Thank you very much for the comments on Dean Scontras. I pray for success of his campaign. We at Hawaii Right to Life value and treasure all life from conception to natural death. This means if it is not the human definition of "perfect" My neighbor growing up in California was a Down's Syndrome child. His name was Roy, although difficult to deal with occasionally by us children and I am sure his parents, he was loved and protected by all of us. Last I heard from his Mom was that he was a gold medal winner in a track and field Special Olympics. I was so proud to hear. I have volunteered with the Special Olympics and found it such a fun and easy time with the participants. Their laughter was so easy at the little things, it caught on with us volunteers. I urge you to volunteer with Special Olympics if you ever get a chance, It will change your perspective on the value of life. God Bless,

This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you,
that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses,
Now choose life so that you and your children may live.Duet 30:19
