PLANNED PARENTHOOD'S 'A' WORD CAMPAIGN TARGETS CINCINNATI TEENAGERS

Washington, DC (21 August 2008) – Today, Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region announced that it has launched the "'A' Word Campaign" and its new Web site for teens, www.theawordohio.com. The campaign is set to hit the Cincinnati area just in time to coincide with the nation's largest abortion giant's push to open a new killing center just down the street from Western Hills High School, which has a high percentage of minority students.

Planned Parenthood's 'A' Word Campaign supposedly stands for "abstinence, access, affordability and advocacy." In one of its web sites (www.takecaredownthere.com), Planned Parenthood implies that abstinence includes deviant sexual practices. According to Planned Parenthood's statement, released Aug. 21, the campaign is meant to foster a perception that Planned Parenthood is about more than just abortion.

"In this case, Planned Parenthood is right," Jim Sedlak, vice president of American Life League, commented. "Planned Parenthood is definitely involved in more than abortion: It's also deeply invested in sexualizing the youngest of our children so that they'll be lifelong dependents on Planned Parenthood's lucrative contraceptive and sexually transmitted disease services as well."

A grassroots Cincinnati organization called Protect Cincinnati recently formed to counter Planned Parenthood's attempted intrusion into one of the city's poorest minority neighborhoods. The site chosen for the new Planned Parenthood facility is also just a few miles away from three large Catholic high schools.

The 'A' Word Campaign is meant to convince the community of the necessity of Planned Parenthood's services. "This is part of an orchestrated effort to get the community to accept an organization that is inherently disgusting and despicable," said Sedlak. "Planned Parenthood's master advertisers can dress it up all they want, but the truth will still prevail: Planned Parenthood wants to get your kids hooked on sex and then rake in the abortion and contraceptive profits.

"The 'A' Word Campaign and the Take Care Down There web site are part of a larger national trend - Planned Parenthood wants your kids and is willing to invest big in marketing promiscuity, pornography and sex products to get them," Sedlak continued.

Hi, as author of the Timeless, 4-Star rated, marriage handbook, "LIFE IS SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED" (http://www.cleave2.com) please let me express these scriptural views about the dogma of Planned Parenthood. Genesis Chapters 1 and 2 not only commands us to "Go Have Sex" it gives us the principles on "Why and HOW" to do it. In my book you will discover the knowledge to handle these ‘God given passions.’ It should be required reading for all persons aged 10 to 110. Only by renewing our minds with truth can we defeat the ‘evil passions within us.’
