Local Pro-Life Events This Weekend!!

This coming week, January 18-24, is Sanctity of Life Week. The occasion is marked with prayer, vigils, solemn assemblies, and remembrance of the millions of lives lost to abortion as the American Holocaust continues.

We encourage you to join with us as we pray for an end to abortion this Saturday, January 17, from 9:00-10:00am, on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood (1350 S. King St., Honolulu). Those of you who came out last Saturday know that these times of group prayer are powerful and a blessing to all who participate. We will gather to pray every Saturday at the same time and place in the weeks leading up to the 40 Days for Life Honolulu spring campaign, which starts February 25.

On Sunday, January 18, you're invited to take part in Stand for Life at the Capitol Rotunda from 3:30-5:00pm. This event is an opportunity to lay a foundation of prayer for the March for Life event on January 22. We will pray for President-elect Obama, our island, state, and country...and for LIFE. The attached flyer has more details.

Remember that March for Life is January 22, at the Capitol Rotunda. The largest pro-life event in the state each year, this event will draw hundreds of pro-lifers to pray and march around the historic Capitol district in a display of unity for life. The program starts at 4:00pm and will be followed by the march starting at approximately 5:30. See the attached flyer for details.

Our Lord said that "Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for Me" (Matthew 25:40). Don't miss these opportunities to pray and stand in silent witness for the innocent and defenseless.
