Group Prayer News Release 40 Days for Life Honolulu

Today is Day 28 of our 40-day spring campaign, and so far, 211 lives have been saved from death by abortion. The families of these children have been spared the spiritual, emotional, and physical consequences that abortion brings as well. That is tremendous news for which we thank the Lord!

As I write this, however, the site of our current public prayer vigil, Planned Parenthood, is open for business six days a week, providing surgical abortions and the abortion pill to women and minor girls. They profit from human misery and death, knowing that their clientele is largely ignorant of the fact that abortion doesn't solve problems, it only creates new and more numerous ones. It doesn't have to be that way.

In an effort to raise awareness and share the healing and hope available through Christ, we are calling a group prayer assembly this Saturday from 10:00-noon. The 40 Days for Life Honolulu planning team and the Bound4Life O'ahu chapter have joined forces and will be praying during this time. An announcement of this event may be found here, which we encourage you to share: http://tinyurl.com/c2u2og

Individuals, churches, and groups are urged to join us in prayer during this time. With your participation, this could be the largest pro-life prayer event ever in Hawai'i! Just imagine...both sides of King Street filled with families petitioning Heaven on behalf of the unborn. Lives are at stake--set aside your normal personal business to watch and pray during this time, if only for one hour (Matthew 26:40).

For the unborn, Lord hear our prayers....
