Georgia saves lives through embryo adoption

Georgia's embryo adoption bill is seeing success.

Effective July 1, Georgia became the first state to legalize embryo adoption. Typically, a couple that has finished having children will donate their embryos; otherwise those embryos are destroyed or offered for scientific research that kills them. Hannah Carter, director of public relations at Georgia Right to Life, tells OneNewsNow adoption is different.

"You would legally adopt the embryos, and then from there the adoptive mother would go through the process of having the embryo implanted into her uterus, and then from there be able to actually carry the child," she explains the process. Read more.
