We're number...49?!? Hawai'i ranked among the least pro-life states

Americans United for Life (AUL) ranks Hawai'i as one of the least pro-life states in America (49th).

AUL's ranking criteria covers states' treatment of all life issues, and final rankings depend largely on each state's enactment of prudent and well-supported laws. Among the laws AUL looks for are informed consent, parental involvement for minors, medically-supported regulation of abortion providers, and limitations on the use of taxpayer dollars for abortion. (Read more about AUL's Hawai'i state ranking here.)

It doesn't have to be this way! Join Hawaii Right to Life as we work for change on behalf of the most vulnerable members of our society, including the unborn, disabled, terminally ill, and elderly.

The upcoming Hawaii state legislative session presents opportunities to enact helpful legislation to protect life, and we must also continue to defend against the onslaught of dangerous bills such as the so-called "death with dignity" act that would legalize physician-assisted suicide if passed. Three physician-assisted suicide bills were introduced during the last legislative session, and euthanasia advocates hope they will be successful during the next session. They must be stopped!

Your donation to the Hawaii Right to Life PAC is needed now more than ever! (Please note that PAC contributions are not tax deductible.) Your contribution will not only help us defend life during the next legislative session and beyond, but it will also be used to help elect pro-life advocates to our state capitol. This would be the start of real change in Hawai'i to protect our most precious resource--life. Please send your gift today.
