If you trust your kids with people who view them as merchandise or property, this is the sort of result you get. I'm sorry the embryos are dead, but the parents were being irresponsible in the first place.

I certainly wouldn't call undergoing fetility treatments to start a family "cavalierly creating life" as the story says. Families undergo much stress, physical pain, financial hardship and heartbreak of not being able to concieve naturally before they get to this point.
