Hundreds "Stand for Life" in Hawai'i

Last night, Honolulu experienced an unprecedented event, Stand for Life Hawai'i. Hundreds converged on Kaka'ako Waterfront Park Amphitheater to enjoy a Christian concert benefiting many local pro-life ministries, including Hawaii Right to Life, Hawaii Family Forum, HOPE INC, Pearson Foundation, Aloha Pregnancy Care and Counseling Centers, and others.

Attendees heard from local performing artists Native Roots, Remember Him, and Holyjam, along with California-based Driven Cure, and internationally known Canadian act The Kry. In between musical sets, testimonies were given by the bands, local pastors, and dignitaries about the sanctity of human life. The non-profit organizations benefiting from the event also provided educational materials about life issues and local pro-life resources.

As a result of the success of Stand for Life Hawai'i, it is hoped that additional events will be planned in the future in which numerous charities, churches, and individuals may once again work together to share a message of life and hope in the community.
