Light a Candle....

In Hawaii, thousands of children have lost their lives to abortion, their voices silenced without the chance to be heard. The March for Life on January 22, 2010 will feature luminaries to serve as a silent witness in remembrance of their lives. (Luminaries are small paper bags with lights inside.)

Our goal is to place 1,000 luminaries that will light up Hawaii State Capitol grounds. Immediately following the march, a brief memorial ceremony will also be conducted at the Capitol Rotunda.

For a suggested donation of just $5 each, you can order luminaries to commemorate lives ended by abortion and support our local pro-life pregnancy resource centers so that other lives may be saved.

With your support, we can be a light for the world and show our respect for those who have been lost to abortion in Hawaii.

Order luminaries in advance by contacting any of these non-profit charities:

  • Pearson Foundation’s Pregnancy Problem Center, Ruth Prinzivalli, 808.942.0328
  • Aloha Pregnancy Care & Counseling Centers, Alana Ammons, 234.7233
  • Calvary Chapel's A Place for Women, Sue Skinner, 678.3991

Donations benefit the charity that receives the order.

The luminaries will be placed for you at the Capitol on January 22, 2010. Mahalo nui loa for partaking in March for Life 2010 in this way.

Be sure to join us for the March, which takes place at the Hawaii State Capitol from 3:30-6:30pm. For March information, contact Hawaii Right to Life at 585.8205.

Questions about your luminary order? Call Ruth Prinzivalli at 942.0328. Note: volunteers are needed to prepare luminaries in advance, then place and remove them the day of the March. If you can help, please call Ruth.
