March for Life Hawai'i 2010

March for Life Hawai'i 2010 will meet at the Hawai'i State Capitol Rotunda this Friday, January 22.

Come join hundreds of pastors, religious leaders, youth, church elders, friends and neighbors at this exciting event to show your respect for human life.

Events will start at 2:30 with a "Silent Siege" prayer vigil organized by
Bound4Life.

At 3:30, there will be a sign waving along the Beretania (St. Damian) side of the Capitol. Also during this time, attendees will be invited to browse the pro-life displays. Musician Malia Lee from St. Anthony of Padua Church will be ministering through music starting at 3:30, and hula will be offered by King's Cathedral O'ahu at 4:15.

The main program will kick off at 4:30 with a pro-life message from several speakers, including Father Marc Alexander and Bishop Larry Silva. The Knights of Columbus will be leading a march through the Capitol district immediately following the program at approximately 5:30pm.

After the march at 6:15pm, we will have a brief memorial prayer service in observation of lives lost to abortion. You will notice 1,000 luminaries placed on Capitol grounds in their memory as well.

Luminaries are available for purchase in advance by the Pearson Foundation's Pregnancy Problem Center, Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor's A Place for Women, and the Aloha Pregnancy Care and Counseling Centers. For a $5 charitable donation you can order a luminary that will be displayed in memory of someone whose life was touched by abortion - or for a childs life snuļ¬€ed out by abortion.
