Aloha Life Advocates: New Brand Identity Represents Mission In Action

As part of its growing advocacy and expanding influence, Hawaii Right to Life is excited to introduce a rebranding campaign by announcing their new trade name, Aloha Life Advocates. This new brand identity better reflects the organizational mission through advocacy to build a culture in Hawaii that increasingly values human life in all its forms through education, public policy, and political action. The new motto, “a clear voice for life” reflects the group’s passionate commitment to speak for the innocent and vulnerable human beings who have no voice in choosing life for themselves.

“As we expand, we will maintain our focus on being a valued member of our local community and an important resource in support of women and families, just as we’ve always been,” stated Aloha Life Advocates President, Karen DiCostanzo.

Aloha Life Advocates is the leading human rights organization in Hawaii focused exclusively on life issues. Their conviction is that human life should be recognized as a fundamental civil right, protected from conception through natural end. They strive to make life the clear choice for all by addressing complex ethical, legal, and social issues with aloha, compassion, and respect for others.

Aloha Life Advocates is a non-profit organization founded in 1973 to provide resources for women experiencing unplanned pregnancy. Today, the group is involved in many key issues to ensure the innate dignity and worth of each person are recognized as enduring from the moment of conception through natural end.

Aloha Life Advocates has touched thousands of lives in Hawaii over the past 38 years. According to Karen DiCostanzo, President of Aloha Life Advocates, “We have no priorities because everyone is a priority, and every life is important. Some people perceive others as being of less value or worth. We feel this is an inhumane perception and the foundation of the thought process that leads to poor choices. Our goal is to provide the education and resources that will inspire people to make life-affirming choices throughout every stage of life. We believe love conquers all who fear turns away.”

In an effort to support this exciting new direction, Aloha Life Advocates is launching Champions For Life Hawaii, an awareness and fundraising campaign that will include a special banquet honoring former Hawaii Chief Justice Ronald T. Y. Moon and his 92-year-old mother, Mary Moon. “We are hoping to raise public awareness regarding the need to practice justice for all throughout our Champions For Life Hawaii campaign,” stated Karen DiCostanzo.

Aloha Life Advocates is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, civil rights organization and is the state affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee. For more information about Aloha Life Advocates, please visit AlohaLifeAdvocates.org.
