Honolulu Prayer Vigil Campaign Starts with Rally at Capitol

Announcement from 40 Days for Life Honolulu

We are glad to announce the start of the sixth 40 Days for Life prayer vigil since we began here in Hawaii in the fall of 2008. As you are well aware, our prayers for the lives of the unborn have been heard by God. Our nation's conscience is slowly but surely turning back to recognizing and respecting the value of these precious lives. Our prayers and vigils in front of abortion clinics across the world have a powerful influence on history, and definitely on the lives of thousands. God's call is to stand firm and persevere in declaring the truth that the unborn child is a whole person with a sanctified right to life.

40 Days for Life Honolulu will once again be a prayerful daily presence in front of Planned Parenthood at 1350 S. King Street from September 28 through November 6. Please log on to our website at www.40daysforlife.com/honolulu and click on "Vigil Calendar" at the top of the page to sign up online. Sign up for any hour between 6:00am and 7:00pm.

We will be having a Kick Off Rally on Sunday, September 25 at 3:00 pm at Hawaii State Capitol in combination with Life Chain. We will begin with prayer, then hold our pro-life signs along Beretania Street at 3:30 pm. This will be followed by a short program at about 4:30 to announce the beginning of the "40 Days for Life/Honolulu Fall 2011" prayer vigil. We will provide signs to hold, or you may bring your own.

Call Isaiah Sabey, Campaign Director at 383-5137 or e-mail him at isaiah40daysforlife(at)gmail(dot)com if you have questions about this prayer vigil.
Call Mary Tom, Prayer Schedule coordinator at 389-2784 or e-mail her at marytom100(at)gmail(dot)com if you have questions about signing up. It is helpful to sign up as a group to ensure a larger presence.

Praise God for restoring our nation to righteousness as we honor and respect all life.

God bless you,
40 Days for Life Honolulu
